Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-22
This policy describes how the "HTML to Figma" Chrome extension ("the extension," "we," "us") handles information when you use it. It applies to the extension and its backend services, operated by Yashitech Solutions pvt ltd.
What the extension actually does with a page you capture
When you click the extension and capture a page, the extension reads that page's structure, text, images, and computed styles directly inside your own browser tab. That captured data is converted into a Figma-compatible format and written straight to your system clipboard — it is not uploaded to, or stored on, any server we operate. Once you close the tab or copy something else, that data is gone unless you've pasted it somewhere yourself.
To build the capture, your browser may fetch resources the page itself references (such as background images or web fonts) directly from wherever that page already loads them from — this is the same kind of request your browser makes just by viewing the page normally, and doesn't involve our servers.
Information we do collect
If you choose to sign in (sign-in is only required to sync your usage across devices and to use Pro features — the free tier's core capture functionality does not require an account), we collect and store:
- Account information: your email address and name, provided by Google when you sign in.
- Usage data: a count of how many exports you've used, so the free-tier limit can be enforced.
- Subscription status: whether you're on the free or paid plan, and basic billing metadata (subscription status, invoice status/amount/date) needed to keep your account in sync with Stripe. We do not collect, see, or store your card number — Stripe's own hosted checkout and billing pages handle that directly, and that data never passes through the extension or our servers.
What we don't do
- We don't track which websites you visit in general — the extension only ever looks at the specific page you actively choose to capture, at the moment you trigger it.
- We don't log your clicks, mouse movement, scrolling, or keystrokes. The on-page element picker temporarily listens for a click to determine which element you've selected to capture, but nothing about that interaction is stored or sent anywhere.
- We don't sell or rent your information to third parties.
- We don't use your data for advertising, credit decisions, or anything unrelated to providing the extension's actual functionality.
Third-party services we rely on
- Google — used for sign-in (OAuth). Google's own privacy policy governs how Google itself handles your Google account data.
- Stripe — used for payment processing if you upgrade to Pro. All payment details are handled directly by Stripe on Stripe's own hosted pages; see Stripe's privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).
- Our own backend (PocketBase, operated by Yashitech Solutions) — stores the account information described above.
